Vertigo

Vertigo is not the same for everyone, so the required hearing assessments can vary for each patient. To diagnose vertigo, we start with a conversation and a basic hearing assessment to determine what symptoms are occurring. A more specific assessment is then performed to most accurately evaluate the individual's concern.

VHIT Testing

VHIT testing allows for more specific evaluation of the vestibular system, specifically the six (6) semicircular canals. This allows the audiologist to design a more specific rehabilitation care plan with Physical Therapy.

VNG Testing

This series of tests may allow the audiologist to determine the source of the vertigo, dizziness, or imbalance to allow for better collaboration between Ear, Nose and Throat (Otolaryngology), Neurology, and Physical Therapy to get you feeling steady again.
