We're looking for experienced nurses to join us in our commitment to deliver healthcare excellence to the people of northwest Illinois and southern Wisconsin.
FHN is an award-winning regional healthcare system, and a not-for-profit organization with nearly 1,400 employees across northwest Illinois.
As the leading healthcare provider in northwest Illinois, FHN serves more than 1,500 people every day in five counties. Our 24 locations include FHN Memorial Hospital, The Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center at FHN Memorial Hospital, 12 family healthcare centers offering primary and specialty medical care throughout a five-county area, hospice, occupational and chiropractic health services, and outpatient mental health services.
FHN Nursing is guided by our mission: Blending art and science to provide a holistic care experience through a patient's lifespan.
Nurses at FHN use evidence-based practice (EBP) to make decisions based on proven research and best practices. Our Nursing Research & Evidence-based Practice Council helps us model patient care around a healthcare team: Providers, nurses, rehab, respiratory, and pharmacy all working together to care for a patient.
Nurses at FHN work in a wide variety of positions, from caring for hospitalized patients in Ambulatory Care, Cardiac Services, the Emergency Department, GI Lab, ICU, OB/Nursery, Telemetry and Surgery to serving as Clinical Nurse Leaders and as part of FHN administration. Nurses also care for patients at FHN offices throughout northwest Illinois, at our Family Counseling Center, Hospice, the FHN Leonard C. Ferguson Cancer Center at FHN Memorial Hospital, and out in the community, too, through Community Services.
