FHN Offering All-Booster, Drive-Through COVID-19 Vaccinations
FHN will offer two options for eligible persons wanting a first or second COVID-19 booster vaccination in April:

A booster-only COVID-19 vaccine clinic will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday April 22 at FHN’s 1763 S. Dirck Drive, Freeport location. First or second booster shots will be available at this event for those eligible individuals having received their first booster at least 4 months ago, with Pfizer vaccinations available in the morning and Moderna vaccines available in the afternoon. Registration is necessary for this event; visit https://fhn.org/vaccination-booster-signup-april.asp for more information and to register.

A drive-through vaccination clinic will run from 8:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 30 at the FHN Family Healthcare Center - Burchard Hills, 1010 W. Fairway Drive in Freeport. First and second boosters will be available at this event. No registration is required.

FHN is following CDC guidelines regarding eligibility, available at www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/booster-shot.

Booster shot recipients must bring a photo ID and their COVID-19 immunization card with them to their appointment. All patients should plan to stay for 15 minutes after receiving the vaccination (30 minutes for persons who have had immediate reactions to vaccinations such as flu shots, or regularly need to carry an EpiPen).

This FREE 30- to 45-minute Walk is a safe, fun, family- and pet-friendly way to get some steps, learn about health, and meet new friends.

FHN is proud to be a part of the nationwide program Walk with a Doc, which gives people a chance to take a walk and learn about their health from a local healthcare professional. Each walk is led by an FHN team member who will speak briefly before the walk begins.

The public is invited to bring unused prescription drugs to the Freeport Police Department at 320 W. Exchange Street in Freeport for safe drive-thru service. (The site cannot accept liquids or needles/sharps, only pills or patches.) The service is free and anonymous, no questions asked.
